ABOUT US

A Beautiful Deep Dive Into Our Worldwide Arts + Culture

Art Report Today, the largest and most comprehensive international arts and culture news platform, began publishing daily on 1 April 2019, featuring over 150 articles, images and videos. A newsletter serves 21K each week.

The platform was conceived when Gordy Grundy, a Los Angeles based artist and arts columnist with a day job as an entertainment marketing and promotion project manager, was tasked with a study of the international arts media, commissioned by a Los Angeles publisher who was suffering from a downturn in the media market.

The resulting epiphany was clear, “The art world does not need another glossy magazine, but a comprehensive news site to serve as a go-to, one stop resource.” The Art Report Today site advocates for the arts and provides an inspiration to the creative.

Simply, the site is modeled on the Drudge Report, the greatest success story in modern day publishing.

Art Report Today is primarily an aggregated site, presenting breaking news stories from around the world. Established resources such as the New Yorker, Artforum, the Los Angeles Times and The Art Newspaper are proudly featured alongside small regional magazines such as Artillery in Los Angeles, Burnaway in the South and Glasstire in Texas, as well as a myriad of blogs and podcasts like Less Art, LACMA On Fire, Old News and Real Art Detroit.

Art Report Today is a busy content creator, producing columnists, cutting edge articles, video and investigative Special Reports. The platform has an active presence on Instagram and YouTube. Our vertical presence is limitless.
